i believe to love what your do and do what you love is the ultimate goal. i have been practicing magic for about 8 years now. and i know why i do it. i do it for the wonder, and to bring out the wonder in others. my hope is to remind the imagination that there are still no rules and that it can be allowed to soar. honestly the smiles, wonder, and sometimes fear (you know the type of people im talking about)is the payment i desire.

Now the other side of me love working on new effects. some are a combination of the classics and others are (hopefully) a new way to do the impossible. unfortunatly these are not geared around easy to use and marketiblity. instead there here to mask the common tales and spark other minds and ideas on what can be accomplished. for even through my mistakes i grow.

-so fingers crossed, while still palming a card-

Couldn't agree more. I've begun to feel the need to share my joy, passion, and wisdom with others in logical ways that help my fellow magi. I recently changed my lifetime path and am working very hard to make things happen. I gave my lifetime a lot of thought and feel so much happier making the decisions I've made and wouldn't regret any step of what I've done.

Having that positive mindset is half the battle... I'm of the belief that if you truly believe in yourself, all else will follow. Build yourself up and make it happen!

A quote Steven Cohen sent out in his newsletter some time ago which really spoke to how I feel at the moment:

"A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both."
