Truth & Salvage Co. returns from trip to Iraq

We thought this band should be called “The Adam Grace Band,” but we guess Truth & Salvage Co. is cool, too.

The band, for which Grace plays keyboards, has just returned from a trip to the Middle East where the band played for American troops in Kuwait and Iraq. They toured and played several bases, rocked out for a lot of troops and even got to fire some weapons. Grace even got a chance to rest his rump in the same chair where former Iraq leader Saddam Hussein sat to be interviewed by Dan Rather in 2003 (pictured above).

The band kept a blog about the trip; it is PACKED with pictures and stories and well worth the read. Writes Grace at the end:

It was good feeling to be back in the US. There’s no doubt that we have the greatest country in the world. We also have the greatest people who make up this country… men and women who sacrifice thier lives to keep us safe. Our Military is big in might… but it also has a lot of heart. Getting to see that first hand was an experience we will never forget.
