Tannens Magic Camp Getting Set to GO OFF!

May 24th, 2012 | Jake Steele | Filed Under General

This year’s week of magic at Tannen’s Magic Camp is shaping up to be one that will not be easily forgotten.

All attendees are in great company, given previous graduates include;

  • Josh Jay
  • David Blaine
  • Adrien Brody
  • Steve Cohen -  and many more.

The camp occurs this year from July 7th to 14th at Bryn Mawr College, just west of Philadelphia and attendees have the option to study in two streams of magic – either stage or close-up. It’s also one of the only learning experiences that teaches the psychology of magic, coupled with magic performance – and as many techniques, tricks and illusions as it’s possible to cram into a week of magic.

 Previous guests and counselors include David Copperfield, Criss Angel, Johnny Thompson, Jay Sankey, Banachek, Jeff McBride, Dan Hauss, Richard Sanders, Dan White and many, many more – so you’re learning from the best magic has to offer. Every Camper also gets a MASSIVE swag of books, tricks and DVDs – VALUED AT $100. All food and accomodation is provided – just bring pants and your favorite deck of cards and you’re good to go!

Think you’re too old to go to Magic Camp because you’re over 18? You’re probably right… which is why Tannen’s has started the Magic Academy – for 18 to 25 yr olds looking to improve technique, develop their performance and presentation style – and generally take their magic to the next level. Enrolment is strictly limited for both – so if you’re keen – jump to the registration site now (which we’ve conveniently located Right Here.)

For more information about the camp, academy and registration check out http://tannensmagiccamp.com - or to check out the award-winning documentary ‘Magic Camp’ that premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival earlier this year about the goings on there, hit up http://www.MagicCampMovie.com

Yep. A Movie about Magic Camp. How sweet is that? Even Hogwarts doesn’t have their own movie. Oh wait…

So? Go – Register! We totally would if we had the option. In fact, we may just try to pull some strings to get in anyway. Student-Counselor or something…
