I'm glad that worked for you and got you booked.

Most of us old folks have managed to keep their hearing losses at a minimum. Mainly because we haven't cranked up the music too loud or had it pumping directly into our eardrums via iPod earbuds. Then someone like yourself lures us into boosting the volume so we can hear your low level voice... THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN THERE GOES MY HEARING THAT I'VE CAREFULLY PRESERVED THROUGH ALL THESE YEARS. SORRY TO HAVE TO SHOUT NOW, BUT I CAN'T EVEN HEAR MYSELF ANYMORE. I DON'T KNOW WHICH IS WORSE... THIS OR THE HEART ATTACK YOU JUST GAVE ME.

BTW, I'D LIKE TO BOOK YOU, TOO. COME ON DOWN TO THE PRECINCT HOUSE AND I'LL HAVE MY DESK SARGENT TAKE CARE OF YOU.
