Magician shares his ‘love’ of Jerry’s Nugget playing cards

I wanted to post this video on April 1. But some of you would have thought it was a fake.

Magician Lonnie Dilan, who performs in the Ghost deck trailer, shared his thoughts about the ubiquitous, legendary Jerry’s Nugget decks of playing cards — the deck so mysterious that it got its own page on Wikipedia. Once on sale for 50 cents each, some magicians say the cards are now a must-have item for collectors. Dilan took the time to explain how he uses them (WARNING: Adult content):

They crack instead of bend? Did I really say I’d pay $20 for a deck of those?

These are a few reasons why I am SO sick of the hype on these cards. They are worthless! I could tell that they were cheap and terrible cards from just one video I saw of them. These are worth less than the 50 cents they used to be sold for.

I mean really dude. You’ve prolly never even held these cards.. If you do anything close to GOOD magic or flourishing (which i highly doubt) then you would know that these cards are pretty much the nicest cards anywhere. Period.

  4. They’re just pieces of cardboard, who cares?

Thanks Lonnie for giving me a laugh. Someone needed to make a video like this about how great Jerry’s really are.

Maybe do one for the Black Ghosts? haha
