Houchin announces flurry of new projects

Ever wanted to learn a magic trick from a graphic novel? Wayne Houchin has the perfect combination. Sinful: A Graphic Novel features a stylized vision of Houchin’s coin-through-can effect made famous by Criss Angel. The novel is illustrated by Josh Funk and is built around the concept of learning the effect from Houchin’s personal notebook. A magician’s creative process has never been detailed so thoroughly as it has here.

Sinful: The Graphic Novel, will be available from Ellusionist on Jan. 1. And Houchin has some other incredible things in the works, including a director’s cut of his effect Control and production of the DVD edition of The Art of Astonishment, one of the greatest collections of magic tricks available. Heck-to-the-YEAH. Houch talks about it with Tim Trono of Murphy’s Magic below:
