Here’s Your Extreme Card Manipulation

House of Cards - CardstackingHow sweet would this stack look using some black Ellusionist Custom Cards?

Imagine Bryan Berg using Black Tiger, or the newest Shadow Masters playing cards.

Professional ‘cardstacker’, Bryan Berg broke all records with his 25ft skyscraper. Bryan creates incredible card sculptures of skyscrapers, stadiums and cathedrals with only playing cards and without using glue or tape to hold the stack together.

His latest creation stands at 25ft 9 inches tall and was made from 1,800 decks of playing cards. It took five weeks to build and was limited only by the height of the building he was working in.

When asked recently if he could build a taller structure, perhaps even 100ft high, he was undaunted. “You bet!” he said.

Berg first started building card houses at the age of eight. He broke the Guinness World Record for the World’s Tallest House of Cards in 1992 at the age of seventeen, with a tower fourteen feet, six inches tall.

Just wanted to point out that it would not look cool with BLACK ELLUSIONIST CUSTOM CARDS…for multiple reasons:

    1. The cards would fade into the black backdrop.
    2. The black would would make it harder to distinguish the individual cards, and the edges and countours of the buildings.
    3. The average person would not be able to tell that they were normal playing cards, or playing cards at all. The average person has neither seen nor used black playing cards.
    4. If it were at a show, the bright white would be more visible and eyecatching than black.

I’d hope the stacker would be smart enough to change the backdrop and light the stack appropriately.

He must have stable hands. I couldn’t even stack 2 cards let alone the 22000 he’s using

That is amazing! I watched this last night and then brought out some old decks and begin to build houses hehe. So far Ive used 3 decks in one building of a random 2 story building. Its frustrating when they fall down, but theres just something fun about it. Now then, I only need 1797 more decks until Ive reached what Bryan deals with.
