Brad Christian: Why run if you’re not being chased?

So, did you get the e-mail from Brad? If you’re on our mailing list, then right before Christmas you should have received a great letter from him. Attached was this video from an as-yet-unreleased project, where he talks about one of the most important things you should practice with your magic. Enjoy.

    We all have ‘tells’ when doing a move. Not sure if Brad knows but he tilts his head to his left when palming, this is also evident in ‘Ninja 2 – Ambitious card routine’

    I really enjoyed this video. One of the most important aspects of magic yet overlooked by many. I used to be one of those people that cared more about the move than the psychology/presentation. Then I realized it’s not the trick that the spectator remembers but that feeling.

    Thanks Brad, Yes, yes, don’t run when there’s no one chasing you. This really hits like a Zen stick! Most teaching magicians will just tell you how to perform the moves, the technicalities…they don’t post pep talks like these. Much appreciated.
