Street magician David Blaine is up to his old tricks.

In one of his first appearances since his “Dive of Death,” the magician was a guest of honor on Wednesday during a ribbon cutting for the restoration of rolling benches around Grant’s Tomb in Morningside Heights. The project’s aim, guided by CITYarts, was to renovate and redecorate unique benches at the park.

Blaine performed magic for a lot of kids, judging from the pics.

  1. very cool, Blaine is the man, cant wait until his next special.

  2. Blaine rocks. but i still think he and Criss Angel should face-off on celebrity boxing. It would be AMAZING! There Blaine would be, just swinging away, while Angel levitated up and out of reach and then dropped down on him like POW! And at the end of the match the blood on the floor of the ring would make the shape of the cards they had the judges pick before the match! lol. I’m tellin ya, man, it’d be the fight of the century!! lol or maybe Blaine and Angel tag-teaming in a wrestlign match against Daniel Garcia and Wayne Houchin? Now THAT would rule. lol.

  3. That would be funny as hell. David Blaine is cool. Criss angel is just too damn arrogant. I mean he is a badass, but arrogance is no virtue. Blaine takes the cake when it comes to being virtuous.
